Social Media, Content Creation & Event Marketing
West Michigan Teacher Collaborative is an organization focused on strengthening Michigan's teacher pipeline and supporting future educators.
During my time as Social Media & Events Intern, I worked across social media, content creation, event marketing, photography, video, promotional materials, and community engagement to help communicate WMTC's mission and support teacher recruitment and program awareness.

Social Media Management
I managed social media strategy, content planning, and posting across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to support teacher recruitment, program awareness, and community engagement.
My work included copywriting, graphic design, short form video, photography, event promotion, and other content that helped bring the people, programs, and experiences behind WMTC to life online.
Event Coverage
One of my favorite parts of the role was getting to capture the experience as it was happening.
I photographed and filmed recruitment, professional development, community, and other WMTC events, creating photo and video content that could be shared across the organization's marketing. From capturing the people in the room to creating short form video and social content, event coverage gave me the opportunity to document the moments that showed what being part of the WMTC community actually looked like.
Promotional Materials
Alongside social media and event work, I created promotional materials to support WMTC's recruitment efforts, programs, and community events.
My work included event flyers, digital advertisements, recruitment materials, and branded graphics designed to communicate information clearly while staying consistent with WMTC's existing brand. These projects gave me the opportunity to think beyond individual social posts and create marketing materials that supported the organization's larger recruitment and communication goals.
